David has more than 35 years in insurance. He was responsible for designing an innovative approach to crop insurance in the 1990s that focussed on restoring farmers’ income rather than simply paying for a loss. His experience as an underwriter means that he understands the insurance company’s point of view – knowledge that he now uses to bring advantage to growers.
A desk in the city is no place to understand the trials and tribulations of farming. So David spends much of his time in the paddock, talking with growers face-to-face so that he can understand the risks to their business.
As a broker, David uses his expertise to match insurance cover to individual growers' risk. He helps growers define the impact of a hail event on their business and provides options so they can achieve maximum value from the money spent on premiums. Cotton growers can approach each season with confidence, knowing that if hail hits, their business will be protected.
With his intimate knowledge of the claims process, David can help you present an accurate picture of the impact of an event to the loss assessor. He’ll work to ensure you receive a fair payout.
David has a Masters degree in Business, is a Fellow of The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and is a Certified Insurance Professional.
